Lymph Drainage
- Dr. Vodder Method
Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a unique method developed in France in the 1930s. It is used by aestheticians, spa-, as well as health & body therapists to enhance fluid movement in the skin.
It also has a very powerful relaxing and calming effect on the nervous system. The gentle, rhythmic, pumping movements follow the surface direction of lymph flow and produce rapid results.
Your Benefits
Lymphatic massage is known to improve tissue swelling or lymphedema and lipedema, common symptoms in individuals with impaired lymphatic function.
Debloats and depuffs
A lymphatic drainage helps to ease all accumulated fluid away.
Breaks down cellulite and fat cells
The applied technique targets hemostasis cellulite during the lymphatic drainage, which may contribute to the smoothing of dimpled skin. This manual process also aims to remove fat that can be treated through supplementary techniques.
Gives skin a glow
Treated skin often glows because the manual gestures enhance your lymph and blood circulation system.
Helps with post-injury swelling
When you have an injury – say from working out hard in the gym – you might find the area doesn’t circulate fluids as well, which causes extra swelling. Excess puffiness may be a sign that your lymphatic system isn’t working quite as it should, so a lymphatic drainage could be needed to help drain some of the swelling away.
Eases tension in the body
The activation of the parasympathetic part of your autonomic nervous system helps to relax the body and release built-up stress.
Helps with post-injury and post-chirurgical procedures.
